Where IS My DaDaDaDa?

Daddy’s taken a couple of the kids and gone to work on the house in Colorado and boy-oh-boy does Ruby miss him! He just called a few minutes ago and I put my cell to her ear…she grinned and started saying, “DaDaDaDa”!!

PS I think we need some lights!  I had every one in the living room/kitchen and it is still dark.
 ugh.
Oh well, you get the idea!

  1. Oh my, adorable! Ruby sure looks like she's looking around, are they sure about her vision? She seems very bright, that little angel of yours. I bet you are all really enjoying having that sweet baby in your lives : )

  2. How CUTE!!! She seems to be so much more lively and developed than when I met her 2 months ago! Really! And those lovely eyes sure seem to be looking right at you. What preciousness!

  3. I think she loves her DaDa! It was so neat to hear her little voice, Linny!

And you, well, I guess you imagine a person talking just like you, and well, I was kinda "shocked" that you didn't have a southern drawl! LOL! 😉

  4. I have been following your blog since Karl's accident. I have never commented, but God has led me to share something with you because of your experience with adoptions/orpans.
I have a granddaughter adopted from Ehiopia. She is five years old and has been home for three years. She is our only granddaughter and is the light of our life.
My daughter and son in law just returned from Ethiopia visiting their son who was due to come home in a few months. Court went well and all we had to do was wait patiently for his homecoming. Last Tues. just a week after meeting him, they received the devastating news that he had died in Ethiopia of pneumonia. We are all so sad. I didn't even know him and I miss him so much.
I just wondered if you have experienced anything like this or if you had any words of wisdom for us. We need prayers for comfort and peace, too.
My daughter and son in law are back to square one with adoption now and praying for guidance and direction. I know you have much experience with adoption. Do you have an agency to reccommend?
Thank you for listening. I do have a blog if you would like to check it out. There is a picture of our precious grandson. http://sherri-damman.blogspot.com/
