Mattie

For those who have been around adoptions in the United States,
you have likely heard of Tracie Loux.
Adoptive mom.
God-fearing.
Orphan advocate.
Tracie is also an adoption consultant and friend of our family.
Tracie and her husband John’s youngest little guy is a precious treasure named Mattie.
Although Mattie’s needs are different, he reminds me of our Ruby.
Medically fragile.
A few days ago Mattie began to get sick.
His health deteriorated rather quickly.
At this moment Mattie is in the hospital desperately needing our prayers.
The situation is serious.
Would you pray with us for Mattie’s healing?

Jehovah Rapha is healer.
Let us contend together for Mattie’s healing.
Mattie will be three in October.
and you can find Tracie’s blog here.

Please spread the word and
ask others to pray for Mattie’s healing.

  1. I will pray for Mattie! I am praying and fasting today already for our little 4-year old girl, Faith, who is having surgery today. It will be her 11th time going under anesthesia, and that is my biggest worry. Friday night during bedtime prayers, out of the blue she prayed, "And please, God, let me wake up when they are done." No one has ever told her that not waking up is a possibility. (Never did I guess that I would be praying for my child NOT to have the gift of prophecy!) For anyone willing to join us in prayer for Faith, I am posting current prayer needs on her blog- http://www.faiths-place-08.blogspot.com

  3. I will be praying for Mattie! I am already praying and fasting today, as our 4-year old Faith is going in for surgery this afternoon. It will be her eleventh time going under anesthesia, which is the worry I struggle most with, and then she made us more worried Friday night during bedtime prayers… Out of the blue and with no explanation, she prayed, "And please, God, let me wake up when they're done." No one has ever told her that not waking up was a possibility, and now I find myself praying that my child does NOT have the gift of prophecy.
For anyone willing to join us in praying for Faith in addition to Mattie, I am posting updates and current prayer needs on her blog- http://www.faiths-place-08.blogspot.com

  4. Definitely have been praying….

Could you all do us a favor? There is a prayer map we are working on! We want to show the Loux family just how many people are praying! 🙂 So Dorean Beattie made this map- here are the instructions….

If you're praying for Mattie and his family, add yourself to the Team Mattie map over on Google Maps. You can find it here: http://goo.gl/maps/6TqOs Just click on the red "EDIT" button at the top of the location list, then click the blue eyedropper at the top of the map, then click on your location. By clicking on your pin once it's placed you can give a name to your pin, and add a message if you like.
