This Sunday I Am…

thanking the Lord for the privilege of
turning on my water faucet for a drink
or for a shower
or to do the dishes
or to do laundry….
And I am also repenting for not realizing
I need to do it everyday…
This trip my heart has been broken over and over…
I don’t think I have ever cried as much either,
and I pray I never forget what I’ve seen,
who I’ve met
and what’s been done in my heart.
“If a man shuts his ears to the cry of the poor,
he too will cry out and not be answered.”
Proverbs 21:13

  1. We are in week 18, of what the average is 8 to 18 weeks, waiting for our matching approval for our little boy we identified a year ago on a waiting child listing. This whole process has been agonizing, but I know God has a plan, and this long process is part of it. I only know of you through the bloggy world, but when I think of a prayer warrior, I think of you. I would SO appreciate you remembering our family and our little boy half way around the world from us, in your prayers. Thank you for your ministry.

  2. Eph. 6:13 For this reason, take up the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand your ground on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand.

Linny, I know that you and your family / IVO are doing / giving your all. Prayer has been my sole contribution up to now. Awhile back I spoke to David about the $45 / mo. I've been sitting aside for our 3 kids' education – how I'd like to instead contribute this money to IVO, Emma, and you & Dwight personally. He agreed, so now i just have to figure out how to set it all up. I know it isn't a lot, but I also know that God will multiply it as he did the 5 fishes.
