Being frank, I was actually dumbfounded at how
many of you could relate to my post the other day
about getting “it” back.
{connie, my sweet friend, your comment made me totally laugh.}
I really thought most wouldn’t be able to relate.
However, there was a promise I made to myself
way back {five years ago – who knew?}
when I invited people into our lives at our
Place Called Simplicity,
that I would share my personal heart with utmost integrity.
Anyway, I feel like the Lord would have me share the process….not to be mysterious, but my journey with openness.
I will prayerfully begin tomorrow.

The integrity with which you openly share your stories is something that makes a true difference in my life- and I am sure the lives of other blog readers. I certainly hope your bloggy friends have and will treat your insight with respect and reverence. It is not easy being transparent and you challenge me to be open and gracious about all my interactions. I pray you can always find the courage to share your heart- because even when it appears readers don't "get it" or even trample on it, your kind of truth lingers long after they tab to the next blog site or shut off their computers. And who knows when God will get a hold of their hearts with a reminder of some truth, insight, or example they first heard over here at A Place Called Simplicity. Thank you for being courageous enough to share and honest enough to be a powerful example!
