Indianapolis!!  You are amazing!!  We hate to leave!!  We have had an absolute blast!!  A group of about 70 of the sweetest people EVER came to meet Ruby at the library!  I regret I didn’t get a giant group shot…and only partway through writing in friend’s Rescuing Ruby book did I remember to begin to take pictures!  Ugh.  But it was such a wonderful thing to hug the necks of many who’ve been hanging around Our Place a really long time.  Many drove for hours to see our Miracle girl!

A few of those who came….

IMG_4517Seriously!! Aren’t they beautiful??  The precious lady really made me laugh.  She said, “I’m a lurker.”  I mentioned that I would include that!!  So, meet a lurker!!

IMG_4543My dear friend, Laura, whose neck I have hugged before, drove with her family from Kentucky!  It was so good to see her and some of her many her treasures…

IMG_4528And my beautiful friend Randi, had a special surprise!  Her son was at the same place our JonWesley is!! It made me well with tears to know that her handsome boy lived with our handsome son who waits!!  Dw asked her son what he could tell us about our JonWesley.  We laughed heartily at his reply, “He likes to talk a lot!”  Well Mr. JonWesley – you will fit right in!

There was also an unbelievably crazy answer to prayer in the midst of this wonderful week-end, but it deserves a post all of its own!!  (Coming soon!)  So next stop is a BBQ tonight in Columbus…pray for our journey.  The weather is said to have some possible tornados as we drive toward Columbus.

  1. Linny and Family!
I confess to having been a lurker for several months. I was so touched by the post I happened upon (can’t remember how – but know now that it was God) that I had to go back to the beginning of all your blogs and read forward. So,,, I may really have been a lurker for years. hahah

I have received my copy of Rescuing Ruby and am enthralled. All of your writings are warm and sincere – a real example of how a closer relationship with God is like. You helped me to understand HOW deep and CLOSE He wants to be with us and I realized I’ve been hearing His whisper for a long time. Now I listen and follow through with faith that He is directing.

Looking forward to a Texas visit. 🙂

    1. Awww Beth – I just read your comment aloud to Dw and Liberty as we drive out of Columbus on our way to Western New York. I told them that your words may have been the sweetest I’ve read in forever. I love, love, love that your walk with the Lord has become clearer! Makes my eyes well with tears – Praise His name…and thank you so much for venturing out of lurkdom….SEE!! I don’t bite {at least not on Tuesdays}. =) Pray with us that some churches will invite us to Texas to speak and we will begin to plan a trip – because I would love to hug your neck!! xo
