A Sweet Surprise

Today in our email we received three never before seen pictures of our sweet Jubilee Promise, along with updated measurements. During the entire process (almost 18 months) this is our first updated measurements and pictures we have received. From the sounds of things, she is tiny, tiny, tiny!!

Her height? 40″ tall
Her weight? 30.9 lbs.
She really is bite size from the sound of things!! Oh we cannot wait to get her home forever!!

  1. LOVE the photos! She is sweet, and we will be praying that she is home to you QUICKLY! God is so much bigger than man, and man's rules. And because God RULES!, we believe with you that the process will be smooth and peaceful and RAPID! Love you guys so much! 🙂

  2. Oh, I remember how precious those update pictures were. I would just sit and cry and thank God that I had just had one more peek at my son.

She is so beautiful and even Amaya is standing here saying how pretty she is.

I can't wait until she is in your arms!

    How is DW?

  3. Precious pictures! Such a cutie!

How old is Jubilee? Grace is still a little peanut. She's gained one pound since coming home in November. She will be 5 in October and weighs 27 pounds.

    Blessings,
    Sarah

  4. She is absolutely beautiful! How exciting to get these pictures and yes, what a little peanut! Sounds like our little one is also very small. What province is Jubilee in? Got your email. THANKS! God worked out our details quickly this time! I'm so glad He is a God of details!

  5. Linny, what a beautiful child; and like you say, she looks just bite size and sweet enough to eat. Lord, keep her safe and well until Linny gets there to bring her to her forever home. She is precious and so are you and your whole family. I am so honored to read your blog. You inspire me to be a better person and to live my life ever increasingly in His will. God bless! Martha

  6. She is so sweet and adorable! And yes, she is pint-sized. A cute little pixie girl. 🙂

Praying your process goes smoothly and there are no further steps causing the wait to be longer. Jubilee Promise has waited long enough.

    Blessings,
    Kimberlie

  7. She is just precious. I have been reading your blog for quite a while now and you have inspired me so much. Though all the trials that you have been through I love seeing God's hand in it all to give Him glory. Thank you for all you do. Mama to two daughters from China. We brought Eliana home last October and this fall we hopefully will be bringing our second little miracle. I hope the Lord calls us to adopt from Africa next.

  8. Linny, I'm so happy for you! She doesn't look that small. 30pounds is what Benjamin weighs..at age 2 1/2. I bet it's off a little bit. She's just precious and i can't wait to follow your journey to her…soon!! I pray it's soon!!

  9. Look at how her hair's been brushed and styled and what a pretty little dress she's wearing. What a blessing to know that someone out there is caring for our little girls until we can get them home! Praying that all the paperwork will work out. God is able!
