Sunday Snapshot:: {Summer Chillin}

Am I the only person out there who loves summer best?

Personally, I wish it was all year long {sorry, ski fans – I can’t help it!}.

I’ll be back later to do a Crazy Love Challenge post….but first we’re off to our church services in the park….and folks are gonna’ be baptized alongside the river….and worship will be heard echoing across the river to the homes….and Crazy Love will be shared with people walking the river trail….and I get to baptize a young woman who has been growing in Christ…..oh yes, it’s gonna’ be an amazing day!!

  1. Love that picture of Isaiah doing some summer chillin'!!
    Sounds like a GREAT day you've got ahead, can't wait to hear all about it… baptisms are SO wonderful to witness 🙂
    Happy Sunday!!

  2. Ok I was just going to ask you how on earth you work that chair in the picture but after you told me about your day…..WOW what an amazing day!!!!!! Do share about it later…..

  3. I imagine you don't get too hot there during the summer. I personally do not like summer: heat, humidity, busy-ness, etc, etc. Give me autumn, spring or winter any day!

  4. You probably aren't the only one who loves summer best, but I am not one of them. At least not since we moved from Wisconsin to Oklahoma. I can not stand the hot and humid summers here. We have already had a week of over 100 degrees and we usually don't get out of the 90's until mid-July. But yuck. It's the worst. You walk out the door and the heat/humidity take your breath away. I only go out because I have kids and they need to do stuff like swim and play. Otherwise, I am not sure I would leave my house from June to mid-September. LOL!

    Just countin' down the months until we can move somewhere north again. THEN I will be lovin' the summers.

  5. ahhHH! i can't take it. isaiah is sooo stinkin cute!
    you could come live with me in africa next year! i think it would be hot enough for you, and all year long too!! 😀
