The Miracle of Ruby – Part 2

Part 2 As I begin this very, very vulnerable post let me first please emphasize, again, what I mentioned in Part 1: Out of respect for our openness and vulnerability, if you have not read Part 1 in it’s entirety, then please do so thoroughly before reading this Part 2.  Some may wonder why it…

Could He be Yours?

A family is needed for a little bi-racial treasure. He was just born on May 28th. His caregivers are working to get more medical information, but it would appear that he has very little brain stem and/or possibly hydrocephalus {what our Ruby has}. The blessed family of this little boy should be prepared for severe…

Cast Your Cares…

This is the post. Please leave your prayer requests below. I asked for people who had left comments on previous days of prayer and fasting to email me their personal stories {if they were willing to share} to share in an effort to encourage others  that there is significant power in Prayer and Fasting.   And crazy…

Tuesday

A couple of days ago I mentioned a painful season  I am currently walking through.  As I was writing that post, I struggled.  Did I really want to share the reality of my heart being in such pain?  As I weighed the possibility of sharing or not sharing, I clearly sensed the Lord saying, “Share…

Needed: A Loving Family

When Dw and I and our kids packed up Dw’s law practice  to head to seminary, we chose to move to Virginia Beach  so he could attend Regent University.  At that time, the American Center for Law and Justice  had just begun.   In fact, Dw was the very first lawyer  they hired for their…

From the Emergency Room

I didn’t tell anyone but this past week we brought Ruby to the Emergency Room.  She had been far too lethargic and sleepy.  They ran a huge battery of tests and said that they couldn’t find anything. We limped through the week.   She did not want to eat, sleeping far too long….not much interaction….

A Very Rare Privilege

I was going to do a Memorial Box Monday post today,  but feel instead I should share my heart and   this prayer need with you all,  so Memorial Box Monday will be postponed till tomorrow! Yesterday Joyce Meyer was the speaker at our morning and evening  services at the church we now attend in Phoenix. …
