Welcome to My Office at Church…….

Yesterday I went in to my office.  I’ve never shown pictures of it.
But yesterday I thought you might like to go with me, so I snapped some
quick pics on my cell phone.
So here’s the door to my office.
I have Bible verses and favorite quotations taped up on the door.
And, of course, my name: Mom Of Many
{That’s a picture of our kids and Dw and I ministering at an orphanage in Mexico a few years back.}

Come inside with me….
What in the world???

Ummm, wondering if anybody thinks you, my sweet bloggy friends, love the orphaned street boys of Uganda?
Check this out!!
I kept laughing and laughing in disbelief!!
You guys so totally and completely rock!!!
Abby {whose wedding the team is going to serve at} wrote and said, “If you have enough we are inviting about 50 extra boys….could you possibly dress them as well??
Ummm, Abby – we got  it covered!!

I took several different angles so you could quite possibly see the package you sent….
=)

Any packages yet to be sent,
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE
 mail it to:

  1. Everyone is so wonderfully generous. Always enough with our Father. I wonder how you are going to get all that to Uganda. Gona fill up a lot of suitcases! Love it.

  2. hi Linny, good morning! 🙂 thank you for showing us your office, I love the decoration on your door… I see some bible verses, and it reminds me of Deut 6:9, writing His words upon the posts of thy house and on thy gates… loving His word… it's amazing, I thought of this verse and said "it must be somewhere in Deut" I opened my bible and it's right there! 🙂

I think I can spy my parcel there! hehe

Hugs to Jubilee for me 🙂

  3. I'm hoping to see pictures of the boys wearing the clothes in Uganda! I'd love to be there in person, but seeing them with smiles on their faces will be second best. Oh and I meant to enclose notes, but accidentally enclosed some empty envelopes. It was one of those days. I seem to have a lot of those!

  4. Thank You Jesus for being so faithful to these orphans! May they know and feel your love! Also may this be a testimony to your great love for orphans! Janet

  5. Linny…I have things to send. I replied to the original post. My good friend's mother, Kim McAbee, is going along so I am going to send it with her. It has been so much fun to find things for these boys! We are gathering things to make little snack packs for them. I <3 it! I am having the little suits tailored to be short sleeved. I didn't want them to be too hot!! I am soooooo excited 🙂 🙂 🙂 God is so good! All the time!!

  6. Linny- Thank you for sharing those pics! It's wonderful! I, too, am looking forward to seeing those boys so smartly dressed. I'd prefer to be there; though not when pregnant. 🙂 Next year…

  7. What a wonderful sight. I'm sure you will fit them all in somehow and make them weigh nothing!!!! Will send ours to other address. So looking forward to seeing the pictures. It is going to be a very special day.

  8. My kids were so excited to see our box at the top of the pile. Thanks for letting our family be a part of this. We can't wait to see pictures of the wedding!

  9. Oh yeah, that's a beautiful sight! Oh, and there's some love in there for some little girls too. Love you precious lady and my heart is going with you to Uganda. Wish I could go in person…maybe one day!

  10. ooh…I see our box. Thanks Linny for sending this. How amazing is our God to take care of the little details!!! I can't wait to see pics of these little ones all dressed up.

  11. That is so fun to see all those packages! I just sent my out today to the other address you gave us. Thank you for letting me be a part of this exciting time even though I cannot go. I tucked a little note in the pocket of my little guys shirt and just felt so blessed and full to over flowing as I prayed over those little set of clothes.

Thank you so much for yesterday. Yes I did fast- because I wanted to be closer to God not out of legalism and it was wonderful praying for all those requests. Knowing so many were praying for the same requests at the same time was so neat.!!

Woke up to a terrific headache this morning which I couldn't and still can't seem to shake. The ol devil saying it was because I fasted but I am not taking it!

  12. Linny,
That is SO exciting! I cannot wait to see pictures of those handsome little boys!!

I mailed our box off to you yesterday, and I included a couple of little dresses for any little princesses you have a need for.

I am so happy to have been involved in such an awesome ministry!

  13. I joined you in prayer and fasting and wanted to give you our answer to prayer. My request was for my daughter, soon to be bride, who had been diagnosed with a volleyball size mass in her abdomen.

Yesterday we went back to the dr. who told us that the CT scan and tumor markers all came back fine. She definitely has a ovarian cyst and she will have surgery on the 21 to remove it. But it is NOT cancer, as I feared.

Praising the Lord for His great mercy!

    Blessings,
    Laura

  14. Those pictures brought a huge smile to my face! So wonderful to see all those boxes for the sweet children in Uganda! I just sent a giant box yesterday (to Southside Community Church). Should get there in a few days. Looks like you will have some strategic packing to do! Praise God!

    Blessings,
    Amy

  15. i am so excited!! i just sent my package yesterday but i had saved the original emails address about where to send the items, which was to the River Church. But when I actually wrote the address on the package i looked at the most recent address & saw it was Southside & that's what i wrote on the package. As long as it gets where it's going!!! It has 4 dresses in it, 1 shirt & 3 ties (i think 3)….but anyway, what a blessing!! thanks for letting us have the opportunity to be a blessing!
