Jubilee’s Update

Wow.
When you guys say you’re going to pray –
you mean it!
Thank you. Thank you.  Thank you.
I cannot believe this is the same surgery as last time.
She has not vomited since I posted the request for her
yesterday around dinner time.
She slept well and ate this morning.
Last time she had vomited until mid-afternoon on Saturday.
As we were leaving the hospital yesterday the surgeon said
that he had encountered even more scar tissue so the
discomfort would probably be even worse than last time.
Love our God.
Love how He moves when people pray.
Love how He loves our little Promise.
Although the following picture is not very flattering,
it’s hard to get a smiley picture with her gorgeous almond eyes
and see the surgical aftermath, so this one just shows her eyes a bit more.

But the first picture was taken within seconds of this one, so it’s quite obvious she is feeling so much better!  She has not taken any pain meds since the ones she threw up yesterday.  Unbelievable.

Thank you for praying.

Lastly, I am confident that this surgery greatly corrected the problem.  In February, the minute I looked at her eyes after surgery I thought, “Uh-oh”.  They were already wandering away from each other.  I felt sick to my stomach.

This time they are in a wonderful position – we are so thankful.

Thank you for praying with us!!

We are forever grateful the Lord moved on Jubilee’s behalf.

  1. Thank you for the update and great news. God is
so good! I'm thrilled that it has gone better for her this time. You are one special Mom..dealing with this and all those other precious little ones.
I will continue to lift you up and I am so very grateful that God hears our cries and answers our
    prayers!

  2. Her eyes look good! So proud her sweet spirit! Another one of my littlest Hero's!
