St. Louis – We think you are amazing!! The people? Such a tremendous blessing!! And the architecture? For this architecture-lovin’ mama – whoooa – absolutely gorgeous! I ooohed and aaaaahed at every turn.
We all had such a Ruby beautiful time meeting those who have prayed, loved and cheered Ruby on!
About 25 people came to meet Ruby – it was such a wonderful time in North St. Louis at the Sun Cafe Coffee shop.
Our friend, Leah, (who happens to be the media queen for Orphan Wares) hosted the time together.
Such a blessing to our souls!
I loved hugging the neck of everyone…and even Ruby’s friend Julie and her daughter Mia brought Ruby some princess nighties! Ruby was pretty tickled by that!
Before too long Ruby told us in her own Ruby-way that she was pretty tired of all the sitting…carseat for 1800 miles and then her wheelchair so she decided laying on the couch would be way more fun…and dozed off for a bit. Since it was her party, we figured she could do what she wanted!!
Jenni and her son Ben meet Ruby
It was so great to finally be able to hug Robin a longtime friend through the blog world!
Molly and her mom Kim drove about 2.5 hours! Molly’s been on a GO Team with me so it was great to see her again! An old friend, Char, who lives overseas was visiting friends nearby and snuck over! So good to see her again!
Cathy and one of her treasures, Cami…
It was great to meet Laura and all her treasures!
I regret I didn’t get a few more pictures – will try to have that figured out for Chicago..
After we went to Leah and Ken’s home for a St. Louis tradition – pork steaks and all the fixings – yummm!
The kids played Legos with Leah and Ken’s sons and we didn’t hear a peep from them! Legos is definitely their love language!

Hey Linny! You met my friend Robin!! I haven’t heard from her in ages! It was great to see you guys together! Hey Robin~what’s up with your family?
I love when the world just gets a little smaller! Robin and I have been blog friends for years. Then she {with her oldest} actually was on the GOTeam when Emma discovered Ruby! I thought it was wonderful to finally meet her in person!
