The place we are staying at has a water park attached….which since we are staying here is included {another off-season perk!}…the water park has several pools, a lazy river raft ride, giant slide, lap pool, wading pool and even miniature golf….so very refreshing……and…
You know how it is? Large families who are away? Big kids, little kids, everyone sleeping everywhere…and then there is that one {usually the youngest} who just doesn’t appreciate the joy of sleeping in….so this handsome little guy was up at the crack of dawn….I tried having him snuggle with me in bed…and that worked…
Apparently not many people choose to vacation in Phoenix in mid-July. Not really sure why. Maybe it’s that 112 degree thing. But this family is still needing to thaw out from winter in the mountains {which most will agree was an exceptionally long, cold, snowy one}. Phoenix seemed like the perfect place. Rates are low….
