Thankful Thursday

1. I am so thankful for our staff where we pastor. We went the other day up near the college to take our staff picture for this year’s Christmas card, which is literally right above our church!! Do we have a spectacular view or what???? (The team: From the left: Kelly – she serves as Dw’s administrative assistant; Adam holding Pax & then Kristin (in cranberry sweater) – they are our youth pastors; Maria holding Levi, Seth holding Ian & Ella between their legs – Seth serves as pastor of Outreach; Graham, Liberty, Dw, Isaiah, me, Emma; Benji holding Lily, Megan holding Sadie – Benjie is our worship leader; Mark holding Jack, Jill (his wife) with Kale and Kate in front of them – Mark and Jill are our children’s pastors.) The Lord has brought all of us together “for such a time as this”…and we love serving with them. Love you guys!!

2. I am thankful for socks that help keep my almost-always freezing feet toasty!
3. I am thankful for the horses in the neighbors pasture that we can see just feet from our kitchen window……horses are so beautiful!

4. I am thankful that paint. The colors available today are so beautiful and make our home so much more cozy….

5. I am thankful for balloons. – they just make me smile!!
6. I am thankful for peanut M&M’s.
7. I am thankful that Jesus Christ rescued me from a life filled with incredible fear and torment; setting me free from multiple panic attacks (each day) and deep anxiety – oh Yippee, Yippee Jesus!! Jehovah Rapha the great healer of emotions!!!
8. I am thankful for all our wonderful and generous friends who brought meals and goodies to help out with life after Dw’s surgery.
9. I am thankful that before long I will be holding Elijah and Elizabeth in my arms. **happy tears**

  1. Linny, you should take some pictures for us of the beautiful view you keep talking about. I want to see the snow, the log cabin and the horses. Sounds heavenly.
