Our Precious Liberty Anna Turned 10 Today!!

Ten years ago today we were blessed beyond measure by the birth of our precious Liberty Anna to a sweet birth mom whom we love very, very, very much. Liberty is the one who wakes up every morning with a big smile on her face to greet us. She is easy going and laid back. Low maintenance. Unselfish. Helpful. Has deep compassion for people who seem sad or lonely. She loves to make new friends. Puppys, dogs and zebras are her favorite. She is a great example to her younger siblings. Liberty and I prayed for a long time that the Lord would bring her a sibling who had some African heritage. Imagine her joy when the Lord brought her two!!
Liberty Anna you are a gift to all who meet you and we are so thankful that you are our daughter….We love you with all our hearts – thank you for being such a treasure!!
Breakfast in bed….

Lunch with mom and dad at restaurant of choice……
Dinner choice (clam linguine) and cake and ice cream…..

    Can I say that part of a verse popped in my head when I looked at those pictures? Knowing that your family has had to deal with so much lately from so many sides?

    And those first words popped into my head, “consider it pure joy my brothers (sisters, friends), whenever you face trails of many kinds”… and the joy is evidenced on your faces as you celebrate one of God’s sweet blessings (Your precious Liberty!)
