Ugandan Team

The Ugandan team leave at 11:00pm MST tonight.

They have ministered to orphans….

They helped with the feeding program in the slums….

They have ministered to the village children at a VBS in Ssenge village…..little girls like this one….

They ministered to the boys at African Hearts and planted 1500 trees for them…and built a kitchen foundation….

Dw said the team has been awesome, fantastic and wonderful!! He said that they have been knit together and are tight. He loves them dearly. So wonderfully cool….

The team will arrive home at about midnight on Wednesday…yes, that is three complete days of flights and layovers….using all sorts of modes of transportation….ya’ know: planes, trains and automobiles!! They land in Albuquerque Wednesday and then have the last 4 hour drive home.

Your prayers for their travel would be greatly appreciated. I had thought when they left that I would make a paper chain to show the little ones how long till they arrived home….but then I got to thinking…15 days seemed way to long of a chain…ugh…….so now is finally paper chain time…and we are counting down till we see their sweet faces again! Yippee Jesus!!

  8. Linn – Sure enjoyed hearing you speak yesterday. What a good word from the WORD. We had to get up and leave because Alan had to catch a flight – so just didn't want you to think we took off for any other reason! Love the pictures from Uganda. Hope I get to go there one of these trips. Looking forward to The River Church for the summer. Love you friend!
