The Picture That Says it All

Yes indeed it’s only TWO days until Isaiah’s casts come off. I think it has been 16 weeks….but we lost count somewhere in Iowa. =)

Emma has been on a road trip to Oregon with the Quiz family and has been gone almost a week. She will be home in a few hours and we are thrilled! It feels like it has been forever!

*********************************************************Lastly, I have been compiling the names this morning of those who entered to win a Memorial Box…..WOW! There are a ton of you – Yippee Jesus!! I will be back later about that….so stay tuned!!

  1. How exciting!!! I had a cast for 6 weeks when I was 15 and I thought that was a lifetime.

We got your letters mailed. They are in 2 envelopes because the kiddos got theirs done before we got ours done.

  2. Woohooo….only two more days left!!! I know you are all excited. Come on tub baths!!! Sponge bathing the kids was the worst part of the casting, for me. I pray his feet are beautiful, straight and pain free. I am sure you know, but he will probably take a bit of time to start walking again due to the casting. Our sons feet were very sensitive when their casts first came off. Before you know it, he'll be running around on those beautiful feet!!

  3. Linny!

We are thrilled that Isaiah is getting his casts off in 2 days!
    Yippee!
Can hardly wait to see who wins the memory box. Secretly hoping it will be us! 🙂
(Not so secret now, is it?)

    Love you,
    Alycia

  4. Linny, how are this precious Isaiah's hands doing with the splinting? Praying that all goes well with the feet/leg casts coming off and that soon those hands will be straightened out. He is a beautiful child.

  5. 2 days, awesome! I know you are all excited.. I have been following your blog since just before your fire but Im not sure if Ive commented before. I would love to be in on your memorial box drawing! I love your Yippee Jesus, by the way.. It just fills my heart every time I "hear" you say it 🙂

  6. We are taking Joseph down Thurs afternoon and will be in town around 5:30, stay and go home Friday afternoon. Let us know if we overlap and you have time/energy to catch up. We are so excited for Isaiah!
