That Sweet Daughter-in-Love of Ours

The post that I was just about to publish was to tell you all that
May 11th was Liberty’s birthday
and
yesterday {the 12th} was our sweet daughter-in-loves birthday.
Two days in a row we get to honor two precious girls.
Yesterday morning, Sarah had skyped me just to visit.
So fun to have coffee with my daughter-in-love on her birthday!
We chatted about everything, while I made breakfast
{as we were hanging up I realized we’d been talking
 for an hour and 40 minutes!}
The pancakes I was making
{with ground almonds inside}
sounded so yummy to her that she made
some as we continued to talk.
{Is Skype the best or what?}
We talked about kitchen colors and she googled images
and emailed them to me…
so stinkin’ fun to look at stuff “together” separated
by about a 17 hour drive.
It is amazing to me to have this daughter, knowing that before Tyler was even in our arms I began to pray for her.  She is indeed, a treasure and so well suited to that son of ours.
We love her soooo much!!
She makes many sacrifices on behalf of the freedom of our nation being the spouse of a milit*ry man.
  The times he has been away serving have not been easy.
Their car was stolen one time.
Her wallet was stolen another.
Her dad had cancer surgery another.
All while her husband protects our nation.
{Picture taken at their wedding almost two years ago –
that’s a lot of depl*yments, medals and bars of awards ago!

Abi was the photographer….
and if you need a really talented one…here’s her link.
Yes, I’m shameless.}
Anyway, today we will honor this sweet girl of ours.  So many of you have told me that you pray for her and him,  so if you’d like to wish her a {belated} happy birthday –
I’ll tell her to read the comments!!
I’m sure she’ll be tickled to know you care!
