Living Simply to Please Jesus while Simply Loving One Another
Those look so yummy!! =) And I have the same mixer; I love it!
Yay!! The mixer is a life-saver.
6 am AND cinnamon buns, you are simply an amazing woman. Proverbs 31 must be about you. lol
Haha. Not quite. I am an early riser, kind of a night owl too. Don't require much sleep actually. Love being up early when the house is quiet…and time alone – just the best!
Linny, You have a BEAUTIFUL smile! Love these photos!
Awww, you're sweet. xo In the picture I was laughing so hard because Dw had come and said something…and then he snapped the picture. I am so grateful for the privilege of laughter.
Beautiful….warms my heart for you. It is a wonderful gift for you to spend time with family. As close as you all you must miss Emma so much.
You are so right – we miss Emma soooooooooo much! We skyped with her as we got things ready for our Brunch today…She was able to talk to Tyler and Sarah and little Miss. So grateful for technology. We skyped with Autumn too. I love hearing my kids tell each other that they love each other…or like last night…one of the first things Tyler said to Emma when she Skyped us then as well, so sincerely he said, "We miss you."
Sooo sweet!
She's my only grand daughter {so far} and I have to say she is my FAVORITE granddaughter.
Yum! Will you please share your recipe?
I will share the recipe soon. I have tweaked it over the 35 years I have been making them from it. It's one of my family favorites.
How precious. Such beautiful pictures! By the way, I have the same mixer in the same color!!! Happy red!!!
Same mixer and same color? Now *that's* cool!
okay, so really need that cinnamon roll recipe!! (though I don't have a fancy mixer like yours so I'm not sure if that would be an issue or not!)
For the first 25 years married I mixed it compeletely by hand. However as the Multiple Sclerosis progressed and the Rheumatoid started acting up, I was given the mixer – such a blessing to my hands/arms. It has made making them so much easier. But I have been using this recipe for 35 years…and it's yummy. Will have to take the recipe apart because I've got it for a triple batch…and most don't need that many! I'll post it soon. xo
Kati Mendez – It is such a small world! I have been following Linnys Blog for like 5 years! A friend sent over the link to one of her posts about MS. I was newly diagnosed and she thought I would enjoy her post. 🙂
Linny- LOVE your blog! I never reply, but follow you DAILY!! Your family makes me smile!!! Such inspiration! Your posts always come at the right time! Would LOVE the cinnamon roll recipe as well. Looks so YUMMY!!!
Have a blessed day Ladies 🙂
Well it's like a reunion on here! I love that – it's making me giggle. And yes, I will share the recipe.
So sweet… love those times that Jesus gives us to store away!
Having them here – although only for 24 hours – the B*e*s*T*.
I think it's such a blessing to take pleasure in the simple things in life, good food, good company, Mimi time, thank God for His simple pleasures in life that make up the bigger picture of things…. happy for you…
It was the best – my favorite.
Sweet….in every way!
What sweet and wonderful memories for you! Thank you for sharing them. I love those simple moments with my kids. I don't know if I will ever have grand children. As most of my children will most likely never leave home. I am longing to have littles around me once again though. You are a blessed woman indeed! God be with you.
I love those toddler bellies!
She is so fun – and my only granddaughter!
Awwww! Brings back memories of my mimi and me baking in her kitchen. Now, I'm the Mimi. I better get cracking. 🙂
I almost cried when I saw this. It's the little moments like this that make it all worth while.
Hugs,

It was definitely Mimi and little grand-treasure bonding time. The best.
Sweet times and precious memories made!!! Excited about getting your recipe…triple batch would work for my family too;)
Maybe I should just put the recipe for triple batch on…I will have to take a picture of the recipe itself…cause it has been well loved for 35 years and is barely legible in parts. ha!
Be still my heart! What a sweet memory! Your hands are beautiful by the way…for many reasons. I see the hands of Jesus!
Oh my. My hands beautiful? Your sweet words made me smile. I bite my nails. They have rheumatoid. Thank you for noticing their love-worn look and not their flaws. xo
I was just sitting in a doctors office re-reading blog posts and noticed we have the same kitchen aid. Mine is red as well! Red is my favorite kitchen accent color! So funny. Good memories made with a kitchen gadget that I would not be with out! blessings!
Twins! I love mine and if I didn't have it, I definitely could not make the rolls.
