Some of the Sweet Babies

FRIENDS AND LURKERS……PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do NOT copy the photos from this site and post them on your site or send them in emails. They are only for your viewing. If you would like anyone to see them, use a hyper-link to allow them to come to A Place Called Simplicity and look for themselves. The director does not want the children paraded about. The sole purpose of the pictures is to entice you to come and serve and meet them. Thank you so much for respecting our wishes. xo Saturday I was able to speak briefly to the Orphanage Director. She said that of the 51 babies currently at the Baby Orphanage there is a great need for many, many homes. I told her that I thought I might have some friends who would love to bring a little one home. She said, “Tell them to come to Uganda and meet the babies…I would love for them to go home with your friends.”

There you have it guys….now it’s up to you…Dw has a trip planned for early June, join him!! Nothing will happen without coming to serve. Serving means helping with all the babies while the Lord directs you to that special someone that is meant for your forever family. I have had many, many write me about adoption from Uganda. It all starts with serving. ALL of the kids need just good ol’ fashioned tender loving care. They just need to be held, fed, changed, played with. They are desperate for nurturing and tenderness. Your hearts will be forever changed, even if you don’t find someone for your family.
I was laying in bed last night praying for homes for these kids. I remembered that once-upon-a-time there was a L*YS Potato Chip commercial and it said, “Bet ya’ can’t eat just one!” I thought about coming here to serve. Bet ya’ can’t come to serve without wanting to take one home. The need is too great. It’s HUGE!! I haven’t even mentioned this to Dw, but maybe, just maybe, I will at some point lead a trip to serve/work at the orphanage and meet the babies?? It will depend on how all my sweet babies/kids are all adjusting. But for now, Dw is definitely coming in June. =)

  1. Ok… now you need to be watching for Mr. Daddy to come read the comments. I have been totally touched (long before this post) and would love to go. My dream has always been somewhere where I can just hold and care for babies (they don’t care if you’re deaf, eh? 🙂

So… pray for Mr. Daddy and I that we will have unity in what God leads us to do (whether it is serving there, or somewhere else).

Thank you for the pictures. I’ll be coming back again just to look and drool 🙂

    And… still praying!

  2. Oh my goodness, can you bring little Christian home with you? Thanks for the pictures and I can’t wait to see more, they are all so very precious.

Actually why don’t you just load them all up and bring them home. I don’t think you would have any problems finding homes for them. Wouldn’t it be nice if it was that easy?

  3. You know how to GET to me, don’t ya?

Thinkin we might need to join Dw in June. Okay, beyond thinking, praying and saving up.

Oh please give them extra hugs and kisses from me. pretty please!

    🙂
    Amie
