A Little of This and A Little of That

Yesterday C and I snuck away for a little bit. It was so fun. I took her to some really fun shops….she loves the “lodgey look” just like me, so that makes it even more fun!!

After a tad of shopping {where she found a beautiful set of old canisters} we were heading back home. I had told her that I wanted to show her the home we had built on the canyon. Since we were kind of, sort of, “passing it”, I swung by to show her. It is such a beautiful setting, that I just really wanted to share it with her.

But the problem is that you really can’t see the view. Then I had a crazy thought. There is a vacant lot next to it. I asked her C if she would want to climb through the brush and trees to see the view from that vacant lot that was next door to our old house on that canyon. She was game…{a true friend, no doubt}…so with flip flops on both of us, and me in a skirt and her in shorts we climbed all over that vacant lot. We kept laughing and laughing as I was trying to find the view and also trying to find a spot that she could see the back of our old house.

How fun is that??

We took a picture on my cell but Blogger is telling me that I have exceeded my limit of storage for pictures on my blog. Aye-yi-yi. Whatever all that means….guess it’s time to look to move my blog to a .com, right?

We were really sad that J and C {and kids} left to return home this morning. We had so much fun with them here.

So Autumn, Emma, Liberty and I decided it was time for a girl’s day. We ended up shopping in New Mexico looking at summer clothes on clearance {my favorite word}. My mom went with and we had lots of fun.

Dw is still desperately trying to find health insurance. So far, nothing. We are feeling concerned in a big way, so if you think of it, please pray for that.

And on a much more fun note….we have a new addition to the family….Emma will be posting about it on her blog in the next few hours….you won’t want to miss it….cause it’s so stinkin’ cute and you will be tickled to meet her. =)

  1. Um, I am sure hoping that photo limit thing isnt for real, cause if it is my blog is in deep trouble! lol I looked at your amazing daughters blog recently. I will check it out to see the new news. Praying your insurance issue is taken care of soon. God Bless.

  2. Hi Linny,

We'll be praying for you about the insurance issue. I know that God will provide.
    Charlee is absolutely adorable!
And she shares the same middle name as myself and my three daughters, as well as my Momma.

Sending lots of love your way,
    Alycia

  3. I use photobucket.com as well and the blogger photo storage. If you're using the html from photobucket to post your pictures, it won't count against your blogger photo storage. HTH.

BTW, I can't believe I am just now following your blog. I remember the fire, praying and giving on a Chipin (I think that's what it was). Anyway, praise God for more than picking up the pieces and rocking those ashes! He is SO good!

  4. Linny,

I will be praying for the insurance issue. I was so thrilled to hear you felt well enough to climb that mountain..in flip flops and a skirt no less. That is soooo good.I don't know if this is the right place to ask..but I don't know how else to contact you…I was hoping you would pray about doing a series on your blog about spiritual warfare. I have been trying to learn about this and I just need a teaching or 2 from Linny 🙂 I got sooo much out of your teaching about "How God Speaks", that I know I could learn the most from YOU about spiritual warfare. So I thought I would let you know that I'm praying God lays it on your heart to do some posts on this subject.

    Thanks,

    Jenay
