Ruby’s Miraculous Debut…

Well that girl of ours,  who has stolen everyone’s heart,  has been up to something quite miraculous!! Actually the first time Ruby did this {which was way back in early April} I literally almost fell over…. and I could not stop between giggling and crying,  all the while worshipping the Lord!! But try as I might, …

Check Her Out…

Ruby girlfriend is up to it again… and our family is shoutin’ for joy! Remember? The little treasure who some said  “would never do anything”… Ya’ that girl. While I was in Africa Dw and I were skyping and  he couldn’t wait to tell me… He’d been lifting Ruby out of her car seat  and…

We’re Done

Finally –  It’s time for our new kitchen unveiling! Remember? This is what it looked like before…. To begin with, Dw made boxes for the top… Then he put some sweet trim on it all… Next it was time to paint them all… Added a new oven fan/hood… {old one was broken when we moved in}…

*Hand Waving*

I have not had cell phone coverage since Sunday. On top of that, my mail account shut me down because they “suspected suspicious activity”.  Translation: Where in the world are you woman?   You never send emails from *that” remote place. Just Me and Him…

Thirty-five years ago today on August 12, 1978 at 5:00 pm  in Amherst, New York Dw and I joined our lives and hearts before about 120 friends and family. We committed to do life together. Forever. No matter what. Dw was in law school at the time and I was working as a secretary “to…

Home From Church Today?

If you happen to be home today, my hubby, Dw, has been given the amazing privilege of speaking at our week-end services at our church Phoenix First this week-end. I said, “Babe, Pastor Luke only has people like Joyce Meyer share his pulpit, no pressure.” Picture taken last year at Letchworth State Park, Letchworth, NY…

Hadn’t Realized

Since Dw has been gone to Africa, I’ve not had much opportunity to get exercise. For me, personally speaking, exercise helps me stay  pretty mellow.  If I feel myself getting stressed, exercise *always* helps. {Besides spending time with the Lord.} With Liberty being the oldest and Ruby’s seizures  really can’t go too far,  so instead…

Progress

Before Dw and the June 2013 IVO GO Team left for Africa Dw had been working a bit here and a bit there  on the kitchen…. It’s coming along beautifully… We are trying three different colors on the doors… The left is a bit lighter version of  Summer White, called  Restful White ** The center…
