Last Call

This is the very last call..
Is there anyone out there who wants to partner
with an amazing International Voice of the Orphan
GO Team June 2012
to head to Uganda to love, care and advocate for orphans?
The team is just about assembled, but this is the last call
for any one else hanging on the fence.
Get off the fence quick
before you rip your britches,
and take the plunge!
It’s an amazing team with even a couple of
husband and wife sets as well.
We had hoped that it would be possible to have a second trip tag team with the first, but last night we found out that a teeny-tiny special someone
{named Charlotte}
is coming home to meet Mimi and Jaja during the time when the second possible, but now not-possible team would have been in Uganda.  So that idea is out this time around.
Here is the post about the trip, if you would like to go:
If you are interested, you must email:
office@InternationalVoiceOfTheOrphan.com
by tomorrow.
{So, go ahead, get off the fence and get typing.}

You can find the application by clicking
 the Download button
at the bottom of the International Voice of the Orphan
 GO Team page, here.
PS  There has never been one person who was unable to GO because they could not raise the money.  Not once.  Every.single.time. God has come through.  Ya’ know why?   Cause His heart is for the orphan and His desire is that people love, advocate and care for them.

  1. Added bonus… they get to hang out with me! hahaha. Oh… maybe we shouldn't tell them that. 😉

But seriously… people should sign up, because there's just never enough arms for those sweet orphans. And there's never enough hearts broken by Him for them.

I seriously can't wait to see who He's got on the team this time. 🙂

  2. I would LOVE to go, unfortunately at least one of my parents wants to go with me, but that week is the same week my dad is in mexico with my sister, and my mom will have to stay home to watch all my other siblings. I will keep praying that i can go on one of the next trips!

  3. You are so right!! God does ALWAYS provide if you say yes to going!! I was asked in November about a medical missions trip to Cambodia this June. I said no because I wasn't working and didn't think I could raise enough to go. Two weeks ago I really felt strongly I was to go on the trip. I put out a notice and this week had all the money to go – almost $3000. More people are willing to give than to go. So Say YES!!! GO!!!

  4. Aww, look at that little Asian baby! She is getting so big already!!

If I could I would be on that plane back to Uganda with you all. ::sad sigh:: I hope it's an amazing trip!

  5. Linny,
I sent an email! Just leaving a message here as well. We have 3 that would love to go. Just want to know if we can still send in our applications!
    Thanks!
    Wendy

  6. Linny,
I'm hoping my message got through that we have 3 wanting to go. Please let us know if we can submit applications. Also, prayers for your family & mil.
    Hugs
    Wendy

  7. I would LOVE to go with IVO if I wasn't already signed up to be there in 2 weeks with visiting orphans! I cannot wait to see how God is going to use us in Uganda and use Uganda to minister to me.
Your blog has been such an inspiriation to me as we have been on a journey to adopt from Congo. Also Linny- what adoption attorney did you use to bring home your sweet treasure from Uganda? Or what resource did you go to to know how to navigate that? I would love to ask some questions of them!

Keep being a light to many!

  8. So wanted to go, but will have to wait a year…other mission commitments with our church. Praying for the journeyers (i think I just made that word up) that their travels be safe, their arms be filled with love for the little ones, and the message of Jesus proclaimed and accepted.
    Keep up the God work.
