Oh me. Oh my.
Don’t you just love to hear good news?
In light of all the sadness, grief, and loss around this world it is so good to have some awesome news to celebrate…
Listen to this…
Remember back…
Maybe you pondered or even prayed about the posts I wrote a few months ago….
Remember?
I wrote this post featuring
Children’s Cultural Connection and their summer hosting program….
Then a couple of weeks later I wrote this post….featuring
New Horizon’s for Children and their hosting program for orphans…
Many, many, many of you responded to the call…
{so stinkin’ thrilled for each of you who said ‘yes’!}
For the record, each time one of you wrote and said you were going to sponsor an orphan
this summer, I would start to cry…
Well drum roll please…..
I have heard {so far} from three {just three}….and all three have their own story to tell…
But let’s just say TWO of the three are moving forward with starting
the process to adopt the treasures that are with them being sponsored
at this very moment…
And the third family???
Well they hosted, knowing that due to circumstances they would not be able to adopt,
but
they knew God had called them to sponsor and so they were earnestly praying
that God would allow them to be the conduit for their sponsored treasure
to find a home….
and literally days after arriving they introduced their sponsored
treasure to friends and the friends are smitten and are moving
forward to bring this one home forever…
THREE for THREE
How amazingly God-like cool is that?
Ordinary people responding to the call and God making a way for each of the ones they’ve
brought to have a forever family???
I have wept tears of joy at the news…please keep the good news coming!!
So what’s our job?
Ya’ know, the ones of us who were not able to sponsor this time around?
Our job is to keep praying for the families, the children brought
and forever families for each…
Cause wouldn’t it be just like our orphan-loving God to make a way for every.single.one.
to find a family?
Oh yes it would be just like Him…..partner in prayer with me, will you?
And then let’s celebrate together!!!
Very nice!!!! Praying for all the little orphans….they are so special.
Praise the Lord!! Thanks again for sharing!!!
WHOO HOO!!! Rejoicing with you and these 3 treasures who have found their forever homes!!!
God is so good!!

YEAH!!! I have tears in my eyes, just as I have when looking at the pictures the hosting programs have posted on FB. It is SO precious to see these little ones finding families. <3
That's how I've been as well – tears welling continually.
Praising God for the way He weaves family together!!!! Amen!

I am so saddened for you all. I know your hearts must be broken. I have been praying that the God of all comfort would minister to your souls. xo
This is wonderful news!!
Awesome news!!
Yippee Jesus Linny girl!!!
Yippee Jesus indeed!
Praise be to God! How that blessed me to hear this today. I pray every day for God to rise up an army of Christian families to adopt all the orphans of the world. That God would place the perfect child into the perfect families and that God would equip, support and finance all of them. Praise God! Every adoption is a miracle to me. Thank you for sharing and God's blessings be upon you and your family!
Bless you my faraway friend…thank you for rejoicing with us…xo
I have friends in Houston, TX that are sponsoring a girl from the Ukraine and they will be adopting her and her 2 younger sisters. It is an amazing story.
