How About A Little Jumping Up and Down?

Saturday we flew to Guangzhou, China for the final leg of our journey.

This is the place where all the US Immigration paperwork and medical appointment stuff is accomplished and our new treasures are issued a VISA to enter our country.  There is also a Consulate Appointment where they will be sworn in as citizens so the split second our plane touches down on American soil they will be Americans!!! How amazing is that??  It always produces a small bucket of tears for me!IMG_8795

The flight to Guangzhou was great – except for the rough spots – haha!  Nothing that grabbing the seat in front of me didn’t help with.  (Not really kidding.)  That “Walk Across FullSizeRenderChina” series is sounding better and better with each flight.

The upside is that the next flight will be our Bon Voyage for home!!  Woot! Woot!!  Vernon has asked twice if we could go home early.  If only buddy, if only….

He’s laughing so hard because Liberty is trying to mimic his Chinese!

Which brings me to the next point…

Get this:  Vernon told me through the translator app that he is so excited to land.  He said he is picturing people jumping up and down at the airport that he is home.  How cute is that?

So here’s an open invitation to anyone who lives anywhere near our area who would like to come and jump up and down that an almost 14 year old is no longer an orphan but has been longed for, prayed for and cheered home!!  Please join the our family waiting!!

We arrive later this week at home.

I am not going to post details, but if you would like to come, I will email you all flight information so you can track to be sure it’s on time {sometimes they are even early!}.  If we are friends on FB, I can send you the info there.   For arrival info:  APlaceCalledSimplicity@yahoo.comairplane-1480118
