Our Ruby-girl is pretty excited to meet up with you all!
In fact if we don’t leave soon, she might just head your way herself! So does not like to ‘sit around’ so it’s hard to take a picture of our moving chica (which is a good problem!).
We are pulling out of here Monday morning on our way to hug the necks of some of the sweetest people in the world!
Two years ago when we did a “Rescuing Ruby Bloggy Friend Trip” we had an absolute blast!
In fact, when it was all said and done, we had put 8,248 miles on our car! Two days after returning home, I asked the kids, “If we could do the entire trip, on top of what we have just done….would you get in the car with daddy and I and do it again right now?” Every single one of them said, “YES!”
We are definitely onto something good with that much enthusiasm! I guess we all kinda’ love road trips! We can’t wait for you all to meet our two newest treasures too!!

An Iowa follower here! Our daughters are online friends(Emma) as they are about the same age and same heart for the orphan! My daughter Jaime DeBruyn served in India as a foster mom for a year! Life changing for all of us! Do you any idea yet if on the way home you will be near the midwest(Iowa). Not sure if the dates are working on your way there! Hi Julie! I am sorry to say that we will not be coming through Iowa! I absolutely love Iowa and would have loved to pass all the rolling hills of farmland but no one in Iowa mentioned hosting an event, so we won’t this time on the way or the way home! But maybe one day!
