Thankful Thursday – WOW!

I have been walking around teary-eyed since posting the last post. You guys are unbelievable!! I am so thankful that so many of you have decided to “take the plunge” and fast for the first time! Wow! I am so thankful that so many of you have posted it on your blogs. Wow!! I am so thankful that so many of you have told others. Wow!!

I have gotten over a dozen emails and Facebook comments about others joining in. I am so thankful. Wow!!

I am truly humbled and I know Cindy is speechless.

Did you know that a bloggy friend in Germany joining in? I am so thankful Amy! (See the comments!) Wow!! Did you know that someone in England is joining in? I am so thankful Michelle. I am so thankful!! (See the comments!) Wow!

I will do a post over the week-end about fasting. In the meantime, be preparing your hearts. Is there anything there that shouldn’t be there? Get rid of it. Unforgiveness? Get it right!

I am off with Emmy in just a few minutes. We are heading to Greeley. Isaiah is having some problems since the surgery. The doc is going to take the casts off and see what is going on. Then he will recast him. We will be back, Lord willing, late tonight. Your prayers are appreciated.

Thank you for your love and support of my friend Cindy. You guys are just the best! xo

What are you thankful for – this Thankful Thursday??

  1. Linny,

I am thankful for people all over the world praying for Cindy. I am also thankful that my dad, whom we thought wouldn't make it through the weekend from his colon cancer surgery, is coming home tomorrow feeling much stronger. To God be the praise and glory.

    In Christ,
Janet, Kevin, Ted, Philip, and waiting for Eli

  2. Praying safe travel for you and that Isaiah's problem will be easily remedied!
I'm thankful for Linny. A woman who is not afraid to challenge us to live boldly as Christ followers!
I'm ESPECIALLY thankful that two years ago today, not one, but TWO miracles from China were placed in our arms! It is a thankful Thursday for me, indeed! 😉

  3. Linny,

Just wanted to let you know that I have been praying for your family and have continued to do so through out our move. I couldn't always check your blog due to lack of internet but my friend Tina kept me up to date on how things were going. Praising God that DW is improving. Lifting up Cindy and Jubilee (and immigration).

    Hugs,
    Robin in Alabama!

  4. Since I read your post yesterday, and then read several of Cindy's on her blog. She has just so been on my heart. I keep praying, whispering her name, her children's each time they come to mind.

I am thankful for prayer, for a God who cares…and for sisters who care.

    Blessings.

  5. I just wanted you to know that I am planning on fasting with you. Also I wanted to mention that you still haven't told us what was in the box you opened, or maybe I missed it. I hope everything goes ok today and I am praying for you and your family

  6. Another mom of nine (hopefully more) joining in the fast on Monday for dear, sweet Cindy. I can't stop thinking about her.

Thank you for providing us the opportunity to join in this type of prayer together. It is a humbling thing to considerthe awesomeness of our God.

    God bless you both.

  7. Hi Linny,
Just want to thank you for bringing Cindy to our attention.
There is no mom alive who could not relate to this situation.
I have done nothing but pray for her every since I read your blog
and am hoping it is in God's sovereign plan to raise up all these people to fast and pray so he can heal this dear sister in the Lord. Will pray for your child as well. Hope your trip goes well.
    Blessings, Nellie
