The place we are staying at has a water park attached….which since we are staying here is included {another off-season perk!}…the water park has several pools, a lazy river raft ride, giant slide, lap pool, wading pool and even miniature golf….so very refreshing……and the weather has been perfect!!
116 today ….and we are finally starting to thaw out….
I am continually amazed at the bravery of our Jubilee.
Everything is so new to her…but she plugs right in and gets to it…..
we are so proud of her courage….
A rare photo of Graham….he hates when I want to take his picture…he says he doesn’t mind when I take a picture if he is with others in the picture {not sure the reasoning with that, but he’s a teenager…so maybe it’s got to do with that, I guess we’ll cut home some slack}…

It does look like a lot of fun. I LOVE lazy rivers! It's been about 15-16 years since I got to enjoy one.

I remember when we flew back to PA years ago (2002?). Long day of flying and when we got to the hotel, a Best Western, mind you, the pool was closed. They opened the pool and the kids, late teens were allowed in the pool since dad was with them. That was so nice. Gotta love those memories. Love all the smiles. ENJOY your time together and your vacation.

I was going to leave you a comment yesterday and welcome you to Phoenix! Then today I get on and see you are at the resort my husband & I are going to stay at tonight. We are going to have our first ever overnight get away and then come back in the am to get our kiddos so we can play at the waterpark all day. So if I see you can I say hi! I feel like you are a celebrity!!!!

I remember going to water parks when I was a little girl and remember the lazy tube thing being great as well as choosing which smaller slide to go down on my own, no fear, just fun! We are trying to find somewhere inexpensive for two nights in two weeks. Somewhere to go as a family together before school starts. Phoenix is just a little too far for us!

Looks like a lot of fun and very refreshing. They are calling for a heat index of 105 here today. I think we need to scrap the housework and head to the pool!
Also, how did you get them all to sit still long enough for the first photo? I have 5 kiddos and we are still struggling to get all of them in a picture with everyone at least looking forget smiling!

I know where this is! We lived in Phoenix until the Lord moved us to Florida last year! Love the AWESOME summer deals at all the hotels!! So glad you all had a great time!
