We are all so thankful for the prayer coverage
going on round the clock for Karl.
No doubt you who have been joining us in
prayer are part of this miracle!
Here are some specific requests:
1. Karl is having surgery in the morning, somewhere between 9 and 10am. They will be putting in a trach and a feeding tube {this is very normal with a traumatic brain injury and will help a ton because he won’t have the tubes down his throat {which he has appeared to even want to pull out a couple of times!}
They both are just temporary.
2. Please pray that the surgery would go well as
the Lord skillfully guides the surgeon’s hands.
Also, a complete absence of infection.
3. Please pray for protection for the vertebrae in
Karl’s neck as they do the surgeries.
His neck went through a lot of trauma the day
of the accident….it needs to continue to be
protected as they tip his head quite a ways back.
4. Please pray that Karl’s brain would continue to heal miraculously!

I just got home from the hospital where Emmy,
Liberty and I spent about 8-9 hours with Autumn and Karl’s family {Dw went up for the first 5 hours of the day} and
I barely slept last night, so on that note…..

Sweet rest for one of God's treasures! Will be praying for Karl on all fronts. Alerting the prayer teams here on specifics…leaving it all in the miraculous and loving hands of our Heavenly Father! I have been praying like crazy for Karl and yet somehow missed the update about him opening his eyes!! SO AWESOME!! I had a boyfriend die in a car accident the year I graduated high school and then another one die in a car accident when I graduated college. Both tore my world apart and changed my outlook on life completely and I am soooo thrilled to see Karl progressing and reaching those goals every single day. Please let Autumn know she is on my mind and in my heart daily and God has His arms around her constantly and all she has to do is relax and let Him hold her when she feels like she's gonna fall. Praying for success in the surgery and that all is well tomorrow…

Oh Linny – I'm so thrilled. This is the first time today I've had the opportunity to read through your updates. Praise the Lord !! My prayers will continue – all of us are praying. We aren't going anywhere. We are here !!! I am especially praying for the things you have listed. Karl is on my mind all of the time….and I'm always breathing prayers, and sending praises to God in advance for the things He is doing on Karl's behalf. Praise the Lord! I woke up long before my alarm this morning with Karl and the expectant mother we are matched with on my mind. I love when the Lord wakes me instead of the pesky alarm clock! So he was specifically prayed over from 5-6am EST, here in Georgia! Praying that the surgery goes smoothly!
Just prayed for the surgery and for all of you. May He fill you with His strength, peace, and joy today!

I just finished my 1:00 prayer time which included prayers for Karl. I am so glad to hear he is making progress. I hope his surgeries went well this morning and more progress is made in the days and weeks to come.
