May We {please} Come By For a Little Visit?

So I’ve been thinking about you a lot.

Yes, you!

All of you.

Some I’ve had the privilege of hugging your neck.
{Some have even come to help us move in!}
Some I know through your comments, in fact I know you better from your blogger profile name then your real name!
Some have gone on missions trips with us.
Some have written long letters and shared their story.
Those who have finally{!} delurked, well, so good to ‘meet’ you!
I commend you on your bravery.  It really wasn’t so bad, was it?
And I have loved meeting each one of you.
So I was thinkin’…
Here I am in a new place.
And you’re out there.
Somewhere.
So I’ve decided to invite myself over to your home….
for Christmas!
May we {please} come by for a little visit?
Take a picture of your home, yourself {!}, your favorite Christmas decoration, your front door, your Christmas tree, your family, your treasures, something or all of the above, post it on your blog and then attach your permalink below.

{Seriously, this moving thing must be getting to me,

cause I’m all teary-eyed thinking of you guys opening your home to us for a ‘visit’…}

  6. Okay, okay–I'm delurking! After all this time. I've been reading since the fire, so I am a longstanding lurker :o). I am just a single woman with a heart for adoption and have appreciated your candor here, your faithful pursuit of God's calling on your life, your strong resting in His provision no matter how big (or small) the need. Merry Christmas to you and yours–and I'll link up to a post I wrote earlier this month with many, many Christmas photos. :o)

  7. hello Linny 🙂 I hope Emma is doing alright with the move, she and Josh were on my mind a couple of days ago so I prayed for them, that He would fill their hearts.

  8. I do not have a blog, but have been moved by yours! May God bless your family this Christmas and always, may your friends be many and joy always be yours. Merry Christmas!

  9. Merry Christmas! What a fun idea! Things are a bit crazy here so no pics but amazing news to share – we finally (after 25+ months in this process) we have a referral! This Mama thinks her new son is perfect as can be and can't wait to get my hands on him!
    We're telling extended family over the holidays so I'm not posting it on facebook or my blog but since it's been my prayer request during days of fasting I wanted to share with you (and feel free not to post this on your wall – it's really just a message for you). Merry Christmas! 🙂

  10. I love this idea! If I had a few minutes to spare I would totally do it. But in the meantime just thought I would comment and say I love you and your blog! Thanks for being such an inspiration!

  11. I don't have a blog, but I'm FB friends with you! Hope you had fun at your party, those shoes were adorable. If I could still wear heels…

  12. Ok, my Phoenix friend….I just want you to come over for "real.". Let's get together SOON!! I am feeling a little emotional this year too….tragedy in the lives of some dear friends, new city, tiny apartment, none of our normal traditions in place….but, oh so thankful for Jesus, our family being together and the thought of meeting your sweet family face to face! E-mail me and let's work ut a time and place. Smmclemore@comcast.net

  13. What a wonderful idea! If we still lived in Phoenix, we'd be inviting your family over for real life fellowship. A very Merry Christmas to your family from us in the Midwest!

  14. Oh! We've been out of town and just now got home and saw your post….won't have time to get up a post and invite you over before Mr. Linky closes 🙁 but I SO loved meeting you in July! and would love to "invite" you guys over another time soon! 🙂 Merry Christmas to your beautiful family!

  15. I saw this and wanted to participate. Mine includes our Christmas. Hope it qualifies.
