Did Ya’ Ever?

Did ya’ ever ponder going to Africa to serve the orphans?

Did you ever hear of others going and long to go as well?

Did you ever wonder when it was going to be your turn to go?

Did you ever dream of meeting up with some like-minded folks to snuggle and care for little treasures?

Did you ever read about International Voice of the Orphan GO Team trips and pray that one day you, too, could GO?

Did you ever try to imagine what it would be like to feed street orphans?

Did you ever wish that you could find a trip that was a speck shorter because of obligations at home?

Did you ever feel that tugging from the Lord to “GO”?

Did you ever know it was time to get out of your comfort zone?

Did you ever long to make a difference?

Then this just might be the trip for you….

  1. are you still doing the trip in June? my hubby wants to go and was planning on going in June b/c he teaches and can't get that much time off during the semester. Just making sure 🙂

  2. The June trip is still on. Now that International Voice of the Orphan has a continual presence in Uganda {Emma and Shawn & Sarah} you will find us aking more frequent trips! The dates will be announced shortly, then have him fill out his app, if he hasn't already.

  3. I really, really, really would love to help in a practical way with the feet-cleaning (I read over at International Voice of the Orphans, Jiggers)… but I just recently married and have to stay in USA while my immigration forms are being processed for at least 10 months… please pray that the Lord will let me be able to help in a practical and tangible way, to open the door His way. Thank you for sharing 🙂

  4. I know this comment doesn't really fit here but I truly need some prayer. This may sound trivial to most but I need healing from a cough and some neck pain. The neck pain is a simple kink but is exacerbated by the incessant coughing. The coughing really is bad now. I'm going on 3 weeks and worried that I probably need to go see a doctor at this point. I am 21 weeks pregnant and been trying to cure myself as naturally as I can at home. But I have asthma and I'm afraid things are spiraling out of control. I believe our God can do anything, and if He can cure something as huge as your MS I know He can cure a simple little cough. Sometimes though you just feel like you need reinforcements, others of faith to come along side you and pray for you and with you and this is what I need today.
This too may sound silly because I don't want to seem as though I am asking for too much, but then again if we do not ask, we will never have an answer. I need another miracle in the way of a job. My husband has been without work much of our marriage. He is so gifted and wants to serve God but for some reason those doors have not been opened to us. We need guidance, and an income. I know I have been called to stay at home after my baby is born but how can I possibly do that if my husband does not work? Please pray for us and for me in my physical healing and spiritual faith.
