Oh me.  Was I ever sick.   Thank you for praying!

We had our Consulate Appointment yesterday morning and I came back shivering and literally crawled into bed where I slept till this morning.  18 hours of sleep and the fever has broke.

Sweet Vernon.  He was so very concerned and stroked my hair while asking through the translator app if I thought I should go to the hospital.   Love that boy of mine!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for praying!!

On to the cheery news that today, Lord willing, we will receive the kids passports and VISAs so we begin our journey home.

And since I know you all love the pictures here’s a few from previous days, since there were none taken while I was konked out.

And yes, almost every moment of every day he has a giant smile on his face.  His attitude is amazing.

For those not on Instagram, I posted these two pictures which are too precious not to share here…

At the breakfast buffet, Vern has been pointing to what he would like on his plate.  One morning, for breakfast mind you, he pointed to the dried sardines.  I made a face like, “That’s disgusting!”  He laughed.  So while eating them, he picked one up and wagged it toward me yelling, “Mom! Mom!”  I love this kid so much!!

And here is our precious little Miss Pearl who spent lots of time staring out the window at all the busyness below.  The window overlooked a pedestrian crossing bridge which went over an 8 lane highway and she loved watching everyone.  She’s so precious – I love her so much and I can’t wait to get her home!
