Selfless Ladies + Servant Hearts = Rockin’ GO Team

A young missionary called to serve the orphan and vulnerable of Uganda add three moms each with a teenage daughter plus two close friends from British Columbia, Canada. Nine women rockin’ Uganda, to the best of our ability…. ministering to the vulnerable, homeless, orphan, tribal families, special needs adults…. Yes, there were some scary moments….

Storms

We were just outside Emma’s new home doing wash. We hung it all across the lines and came into the house. About 15 minutes later, this was the sky. Storm clouds are rolling in and the wind has arrived. At the same time, our hearts are heavy with the ‘storms’ around the  world.  A terrorist…

Little S…

We were more than relieved to find S still alive when  we arrived to check in this morning. Jody and I knew that it was only the prayers of God’s people  that had sustained sweet S through the night. We took off their clothes and put the twins against each other… immediately the bigger S…

An Itty-Bitty Request…

As with each team we bring to Uganda, we spend time at different types of ministries to  expose each team member to different types of ministry here in Uganda. There’s a loss,…

There are so many emotions floating around this silver-haired mama’s heart as the days tick closer to early January. So many changes underway….including circumstances that I cannot quite share yet…and some that I just haven’t been able to bring…

The Only Thing….

One of my most favorite verses ever: “The grass withers and the flowers fade,  but the word of our God stands forever.” Isaiah 40:8   I memorized this verse when I was just a little girl.  About the time I memorized it I found a little tiny ‘baby daisy’ and put it in my Bible…

Please Forgive My Error

A few days back I did a post rejoicing that Christine and Sol and their children were home.  I usually am so cautious and review all things carefully, but in the midst of the move and continual company, I hastily wrote the joyous report. I then heard that they were actually not home.  I felt…

Update Again

Sol and Christine have been released from prison on bail.  Their biological children have also been released.   Their bio children were released to the US Embassy custody, but at least they are together. Please pray for their emotional healing from the last 40 hours of trauma. This has only happened because of Almighty God’s…
